PRINT variable values in matrix.f during genereate_events

Hello,

I was wondering if PRINT statements in matrix.f are logged somewhere during execution of
bin/generate_events ?

Alternatively, I am using Fabio's small program "check_sa.f ", which works fine. However, am I guaranteed the same settings of configuration parameters (read by Card files) as during event generation?

Hello Bernd,

You find the Pythia log by clicking on the link "LOG" in the Pythia line in the crossx.html file. You also find it at Events/run_name/tag_name_pythia.log.

If you use the same param_card.dat, then you will get the same model parameter reading whether you use check_sa.f or madevent. check_sa doesn't care about the run_card.dat.

Sorry, I read your question wrong (I just answered another problem relating to Pythia). You find the log file for the madevent run in the corresponding SubProcesses/P..../G.../run_name_log.txt, or simply by clicking on the cross section number for the integration channel in the results.html page.
