Is there a Medibuntu 'old-repository' for Gutsy?

Asked by Soh Kam Yung

I understand that Gutsy is now EOL, hence the removal of Gutsy packages from the main Medibuntu repository.

However, I have some office systems that still use Gutsy (and cannot be updated yet) and I would like to install some Gutsy packages from Medibuntu.

Is there a Medibuntu 'old-repository' for Gutsy?

The main Ubuntu repository has an old-releases section [http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/] that holds an archive of Gutsy packages, so I was hoping something similar is available for the Medibuntu packages for Gutsy.

No, they are still available (i.e. if you have "deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ gutsy free non-free" in your sources.list it will work). They have only been hidden from the html packages frontend (although there are some mirrors where <http://packages.medibuntu.org/gutsy/index.html> is still visible).

I just created an FAQ for that, since many people have this question when a release goes unsupported:
FAQ #537: “Are packages for EOL'd releases still available?”.
