medibuntu proxy URL invalid host name

I have a DNS problem when attempting to access the medibuntu repository from the command line. Looks like the URL is not translated at all, leaving only the port number??
As is evident from below, I run Hardy. Maybe something to do with my ADSL router?

$ sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/hardy.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
Error parsing proxy URL http://:8080/: Invalid host name.

Help, please!

Hi,

the medibuntu.org webite isn't proxyfied in any way, so this "rewriting" can't be due to us.
Check your $http_proxy env variable maybe.
