With a CD of audio AND video I can only see and play the audio (I can play DVD films)

Asked by Andrew Jenner

I get Total Guitar mag which has a cd with audio play alongs as well as video lessons. So far I can play the audio part but cannot even see the video files. If I try
                                   andrew@andrew-laptop:/media/cdrom0$ ls
nothing is listed I have also tried
                                   andrew@andrew-laptop:/$ cd cdda://scd0/
bash: cd: cdda://scd0/: No such file or directory
I can play DVD films. Am I doing something stupid as I am very new to ubuntu but love it and would hate to go back to microsoft over this.

I have done the above but no joy.
the disc has 8 audio tracks, I was however able to see a 9th which just made noise and looked to be 51 mins long.
In the File browser window I can still only see audio files.

I have worked out the problem, by going back to a Windows PC(but not a solution), CD autoruns macromedia projector to enable you to view the video's files (FLV, X32, PYD, PYO) Whatever they are.

Many thanks Daniel for you help, I will go away and ask another question if (more than likely) I need some help to get macromedia to work.
