medibuntu edgy release - signatures invalid

Asked by Nicholas Eayrs

when running:

sudo apt-get update

receiving the following error:

W: GPG error: http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com edgy Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 2EBC26B60C5A2783 The Medibuntu Team <email address hidden>

I have performed the following thus far with no success:

*sudo apt-key del 0x0C5A2783
*wget -q http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com/repo/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -
*sudo apt-get update
*same error
*sudo apt-key del 0x0C5A2783
*gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 0x0C5A2783 ; gpg --export -a 0x0C5A2783 | sudo apt-key add -
*sudo apt-get update
*same error
*System > Administration menu, open "Softwares sources", "Authentication" tab, select the medibuntu key and click the "Remove" button
*System > Administration menu, open "Softwares sources", "Authentication" tab, click on the "import key file" button, select the downloaded key
*sudo apt-get update
*same error

Any ideas?

Thanks

I get the same error

<Reading package lists... Done
W: GPG error: http://medibuntu.sos-sts.com feisty Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 2EBC26B60C5A2783 The Medibuntu Team <email address hidden>
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems

I suspected the key was being corrupted during download ( I am behind someone else's local network with some very stupid content filtering and also a freedom-hating government's transparent proxies used for session hijacking) so I downloaded the key via tor, but it gives the same error message.
