Reachability of my IPv6 IPs.

Hi,

I cannot access your servers (2a01:e0b:1:58:240:63ff:feec:1cfc) from my IP range 2402:6000::/32 (2402:6000:def:aced::1 as an example). It seems to be that the reverse path back to us isn't working. I have tried multiple IPv6 upstreams, and while I can connect to your servers using my upstreams IPs, I cannot connect from my own.

I can provide traceroutes, but the two last hops that I have see are;

16. 10g-1-2.core1.ams1.ipv6.he.net 0.0% 2 547.7 544.4 541.1 547.7 4.6
Unresolved; 16. 2001:470:0:4f::1 0.0% 2 540.3 541.4 540.3 542.5 1.6

And;

 4. equinix6-sjc.ip.tiscali.net 0.0% 2 350.9 352.8 350.9 354.6 2.6

Any further information required can be easily supplied.

I'm in the same boat as Neil. My netblock is 2001:4830:1224::/48, and I can't reach either of the ipv6 addresses for packages.medibuntu.org. Current DNS resolution from here shows:

# host packages.medibuntu.org
packages.medibuntu.org has address 213.186.45.139
packages.medibuntu.org has address 87.98.242.10
packages.medibuntu.org has address 88.191.30.43
packages.medibuntu.org has IPv6 address 2a01:e0b:1:30:240:63ff:fee5:c64e
packages.medibuntu.org has IPv6 address 2a01:e0b:1:58:240:63ff:feec:1cfc

All 3 of the v4 addresses work fine, neither of the v6 addresses work.. Can you guys either stop publishing AAAA records, or fix this? I asked about this about a month ago, and got the answer, "It's strange, I'll check!" So, what did you find when you checked?

Hi,

it seems that our provider does not allow some ipv6 address. We'll remove them from dns if we can't find any solution.

Ok, I just removed ipv6 availability for medibuntu until we can provide a full working support.
