Missing Google Earth in Maverick repository

Why is there no Google Earth package in the Maverick repository anymore as it used to be for the previous repositories?

It can be installed using the googleearth-package from the official repositories.

although this is true, i have no idea how to use this tool.
therefore the addition to medibuntu would contribute to make things easier.
