Stop dreaming. Medibuntu is community-maintained. If you're not happy, you can contribute to it, or stop using it.

Otherwise, you have some info/workaround in <https://bugs.launchpad.net/medibuntu/+bug/565810>, which you could have found already if you searched a bit.

Lionel,
I was dreaming that you were putting some sort of explanation/information, regarding the downtime, on the front page of the website www.medibuntu.org
You can even explain people what's going on with the server, you can also write there the names of the alternatyive mirros....
Do you think is an impossible dream?

p.s.: I know nobody is gonna be paid for this work, but if you're serving a huge number of people, at least you should expect some compiain.

cheers
Massimiliano

Everything is explained in the bug report, linked in Lionel's answer.

So, put the link of this bug in the front page of www.medibuntu.org
Give an explanation to people.
Let's try to be much clear than I was: people who opened that bug in launchapd, had to investigate a lot, before understanding what was going on with these servers.
That happened because you didn't notice anyone about this problem.

BTW: if you need some people to contribute (with money or whatever), people would like to know what happened.
I mean, if you crashed disks or lightning burned you servers, or whatever, you just write it down, and ask money for that.
But it's crap if you say "give me money or shut up and stop using it".
