The Medibuntu website itself has a very quick and clean intruction manual for do so, located here: http://www.medibuntu.org/repository.php
Those instructions will add the repositories to your list, and then (after you update) you can add programs just like any other through your favorite package manager.

Hope that helps, and welcome to the world of Linux and Ubuntu!

On the repository how2 I ran the two commands but this still does not tell me how to install the packages. the one I am trying to download is the libdvdss2 b/c my dvd player isn't working. Is there a easier way to get my dvd player to work. this is alot tougher then windows. I need a beginners step by step solution for my issue. thanks

Thanks you. It took a few more steps and wasn't as easy as installing a driver in windows. Again I am a beginner to Linux. But once I got the proper instruction it was pretty easy.
Thanks for your help.

root@atoms-desktop:/home/atoms# wget -q http://packages.medibuntu.org/medibuntu-key.gpg -O- | sudo apt-key add -
OK
root@atoms-desktop:/home/atoms# sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/dapper.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
