amarok 1.4.6 and repositories not available?

Asked by JW

I made the mistake of upgrading to Amarok 1.4.6 (thereby losing the ability to access some m4a tags). It would seem that the Ubuntu repository was ahead of you folks. I am now trying to install 1.4.5-0ubuntu7+medibuntu1, but I am not able to with the following command:

sudo apt-get install amarok=1.4.5-0ubuntu7+medibuntu1

here are the results:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Version '1.4.5-0ubuntu7+medibuntu1' for 'amarok' was not found

Is this no longer available for feisty? Am I missing something obvious that would make this work? Per chance is there a 1.4.6 version available from you?

Here is the entry from my sources.list for this site:

deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ feisty free non-free

Hi,

We are not going to add amarok 1.4.6 in medibuntu since it is only available in feisty-backports (See Bug #121892 for more infos).

And the medibuntu version for amarok is '2:1.4.5-0ubuntu7+medibuntu1' (you missed the '2:'), apt-get should work then.

Thanks. I was able to go back and get 1.4.5. Perhaps when I have some time I'll go ahead and compile 1.4.6 myself so I can have all the latest benefits of 1.4.6.

Of course... if I stay really lazy, I can just wait until gutsy, no? I presume you'll have a 1.4.6 for gutsy.
