How can I take screenshots to show you any problems I encounter?

You need to use a tool called "ddms" from the Android Software Development Kit. There are detailed instructions here:

Screenshots are definitely very useful to have when addressing issues, so even though it takes a bit of work to set up the Android SDK, it is definitely worth it.
