Can Tekla be used with a switch device plugged in to the USB port?

USB switch input is not yet supported by Tekla, however, it may be supported in the future. USB switch connections typically use the Human Interface Device (HID) protocol to emulate joystick and/or mouse input on desktops, but it is not yet supported on Android devices.

Currently, the only compatible interface is the "Tekla shield", which can take input from standard switches and send switch events to the phone via Bluetooth.

The Tekla shield is available through Komodo OpenLab (komodoopenlab.com)
