brightness, colours and contrast control

Asked by tomas

I have me-tv with Fedora12 and LDC display. It's look very well, but there is needed for me to control brightness, colours and contrast as in Xine or Totem. In days are pictures too dark. Thanks. Tomas

Copy ~/.xine/config to ~/.me-tv/xine.config

Sorry, but I copied xine.config (cp ~/.xine/config ~/.me-tv/xine.config)
and I restarted Me-tv.
I found no changes in the control of Me-tv. Set gui.vo_brightness in
xine.config and restart Me-tv stay without changes too.

Please try changing another value in the xine.config such as the aspect ratio to confirm that the changes are coming though to the player. Also, you might want to try a different video driver in the Me TV preferences dialog just to see if that's causing the issue.

I try to change any values in xine.config. There is no value aspect
ratio, but I mean that changes the anothers are not coming to the
player. The xine.config file is .version2. The xine.config was copied
from xine, which gui.vo_brightness:50816, #gui.vo_contrast:-1 ,
#gui.vo_hue:-1, #gui.vo_saturation:-1.
The player works with sdl, xshm and xv drivers. With xxmc stops the
picture in a few second.
It looks like the same – without effekts from configuration file in all
drivers. Tomas.

There are still problems, how to control brightness, colours, saturation, contrast and volume from my me-tv.

You don't control the volume with Me TV, use the system volume control or pulseaudio.

I guess that the other controls can't be modified either.
