can'find the channel.conf

Asked by Peter van Kann

i installed me-tv on two dell laptops with a hauppauge WinTV Nova TD-Stick. Everything works fine except i can't modify or erase the channel.conf-file because i can't find it. It is nessecary do a rescan because the first scan took place in a bad reception-area and just found four channels.
I checked my home-directory and it contains only the common folders like documents, pictures, videos and so on, but no me-tv.
It's the same on both computers. I deinstalled and reinstalled me-tv on one computer, but the channels i scanned before where still there. What did i srew up? I'm a newbie to Linux and i need help. Thank you.
best regards

peter

Hi Michael,
thanks for the quick answer. It's working now. I see that i have to
learn Linux now more thoroughly to avoid such stupid questions in the
future.
Thanks again
Peter
