Me TV 0.5 will work with any ATSC card that has kernel support.

I assume the HDhomerun will not work with Me TV since it is an external box. Ubuntu Hardy has the CLI interface to control the HDhomerun so it should be easy to make it work with just about anything. Although I am not sure how or where the HDhomerun saves the channel list. Michael, do you know about the HDhomerun?

I don't know anything about the HDHomerun. I'll happily include any changes to add HDHomerun support if you can convince a developer with the device to get it working.

I am don't know too much how things work behind the GUI but I want to learn. The HDhomerun is a network tuner, in case you are curious. http://www.silicondust.com/ They have the source for the CLI control and Ubuntu has a CLI control package. I don't have one, a friend of mine does. MythTV supports it but MythTV seems to have issues with restarting and not finding the HDhomerun right off. Not to mention MythTV is over kill for what he wants. I assume you could add a call from Me-TV to the HDhomerun to tune to a channel then set xine to receive the stream from the HDhomerun. I really don't know much yet, but I will try to help anyway I can. I will get the HDhomerun from my friend this week or next so I can start figuring out how it works. When you say the developer of the device, you mean the one who wrote the CLI control or the maker of the unit? Thanks for all your time and the great program.

I mean any software developer that can get the device to work in Me TV, I'll happily include their changes.

Thanks,

Michael
