Command line parameters?

Asked by dbrb2

Hi - Apologies if I have missed thsi in the manual, but is there currently any way to configure me-tv via the command line? For example, to specify that the program starts in fullscreen mode?

Cheers,

Ben

Hi Ben,

In short, "no". Is there a particular problem that you are trying to solve? i.e. Double clicking the main window will get you into fullscreen, what's wrong with that?

Thanks,

Michael

Can you set up LIRC or your remote to send an "f" key?

Hi - having posted, I have done just that. I used xbindkeys to capture the
remote control keycodes. I then use xte to generate fake mouse/keystrokes.
So for example if I press the big start button on the remote, I run me-tv
then, a second later, move the mouse to a position I know will be above the
video window and press 'f'.
