Fails to find channels

Me TV reports that I don't have a channels.conf file and scans, finds no channel. I tried to put my channels.conf file (from dvb-utils scan program, which successfully scanned my local ATSC channels) in the .me-tv folder, but then Me TV reports that it cannot use the file because it is not encoded UTF8.

I am using an EyeTV hybrid, which is essentially identical (and is recognized by Gutsy Giibbon) as a Hauppage HVR-950. Any ideas?

Hi,

Don't know why Me TV didn't scan. It is the same tuner as the one from dvb-utils.

Open the channels.conf file using GEdit and save as UTF-8.
