frameless viewing & EPG font size

Asked by Cuppa-Chino

Hi,
really like me-tv very compact and straightfoward, couple of suggestions/questions I have:
a) would it be possible to have an option to allow "windowborder off" / "frameless viewing - this would greatly save on real estate on the desktop
b) would it be possible to allow an option to change the button & font size in the EPG, my standard gnome buttons are quite large admittedly, but with 30+ channels available here it would be easier to organise if it would be possible to force the font / buttons smaller

Am I correct in assuming that when me-tv is minimsed no more processing power is used to display the live stream and it is simple stored on the HD while recording (or dumped when only watching)?

I would like to thank you for all your efforts and give my support to the pause function it is the one thing I am missing since from Kaffeine.

Regards

Hi,

a) There's the "Hide Controls" button ... have you tried that.
b) Not in 0.5. I have to think about how I'm going to do this in 0.6, the EPG was made in a rush trying to get away from the GtkHTML version that we had.

Processing power? I don't know, I haven't checked.

Thanks,

Michael

thanks michael, no idea why I missed the very obvious option of choosing a tiny window border in gnome and then using hid controls. this is not perfect as the new border is bit difficult to work with but it is good enough.
