KDE, I have no idea, maybe you can tell me :) Install it and find out.

Maybe you should look at kaffeine, it's a good KDE application that supports DVB.

Just the same as installing Kaffeine in Gnome - that loads all the required kde libs,
installing Me-TV in kde3 loads all the required gnome libs.
Seriously loads up the RAM, but either work fine.
