More than one channels.conf?

I'm using Me-TV on a laptop. I travel a lot and use the tuner while on travel. Is there anyway to store more than one channels.conf file after scanning at a location, and choose whatever channels.conf i need for a particular area I am in from within Me-TV? This would be a really useful feature.

The short answer is "no". But there are some tricks, for example, the channels.conf path is configured in the me-tv.config. So you could write a shell script that changed it for you. Or maybe some command line XML tool to manipulate the value. To be honest, it would just be easier to swap about 2 files by copying the one you want to be the channels.conf.

If you would like to see this feature implemented then please create a blueprint for it. Nothing complicated, just some simple requirements.
