How can I install this in 12.10?

Asked by caish5

The ppa has no package for Quantal.
Is there one coming?
If not how does one get the source to compile?
Thanks

You can install the package from Precise, it will work. You can also add
the PPA for Precise to your Quantal, it will work too.

Cheers,

I tried adding the ppa.
But it just errored out on the apt-get update, I'm assuming because it was looking for /quantal
How do i get it to accept the precise version?

You can add this line to your sources.list (/etc/apt/sources.list):

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/me-tv-development/ppa/ubuntu precise main

Then:
   sudo apt-get update
   sudo apt-get install me-tv
