zaptv zap-tv240m dongle metv cant see it

Hi I have a zaptyv dongle when plugged in metv reports no device connected, is it a driver issue and if so how do i install one?

You probably need to install the firmware (the driver is generally already
in the kernel)

To help you, I need more info:
Can you send me the exact model (the website of the maker if possible) ?
Can you send me the output of the command "dmesg" ?

If it's the device I found, you can download the firmware here:
http://www.linuxtv.org/downloads/firmware/dvb-usb-wt220u-02.fw

Copy it in the folder "/lib/firmware" and reboot...
