Support of ISDB system ?

Hello at Me-TV team.

good project and would like to use it.

It currently does not suppport ISDB DTV systems used in Japan and also in Brazil.

Is there a way this could be done ?

For information In Japan.

ISDB-T is used for terrestrial. (called ISDB-Tb for Brazil)
One Seg for mobile Tv (usable with USB Stick receiver)

Japan also use

ISDB-S for some satellite
DVB-S and soon S2
ISDB-C for cable TV but in fact it is similar to DVB-C.

I don't think any programmer are able to implement this because no one have this technology in there country. But if you are motivated and have some time, you can help me helping you (and future ISDB user).

First, is your hardware recognize in ubuntu (do you need driver, firmware...)? Is other program working (i.e mplayer, mythtv, vlc) ? Recent version of mplayer seems to work for others but you have to apply some patchs.
