can Me-TV import EPGs in XMLTV-format?

Asked by Sander Jonkers

Hi,

Can Me-TV import EPGs in XMLTV-format?

At this moment, Me-TV's EPG only shows the current and the next program, as received via the DVB-T Streams.

I would like Me-TV to have a more elaborate EPG, imported from third party websites. Other tools (like mythtv) use the XMLTV format for that. And there are already tools available to create (grab) those XMLTV EPG files. See for example http://wiki.mythtv.nl//index.php/Grabbers for a list grabbers for Netherlands. I'm now using the python script http://code.google.com/p/tvgrabnlpy/downloads/list, which seems to work nicely.

So, it would be great if you could point Me-TV at a file containing EPG info in XMLTV format, which would then be shown in Me-TV's EPG window.

FWIW: I'm using Me-TV 1.3.2

And is there also a long answer ... with something like "roadmap" in it ...? ;-)

Aha. There is no Me-TV development anymore, and thus no roadmap. Clear.

Thanks.

No, I'm not developing on Me TV any more but other developers are implementing things that they want. Contributions are always welcome.

Can you help with this problem?
