Channels missing

Asked by JP Caux

I am running Me TV v1.1.2 under Linux Mint 9 x64. I am tuning local ATSC channels over the air. Since there is no Initial scan file for my town in the USA, I tried the ones for US that came with the package. I noticed that some files would pick up 1. 2 or 3 channels, possibly because they have the same channel numbssr I have here. I ran 3 files like this picking up channels, then one file yielded nothing. Last file I tried picked up two channels already detected. But I am still missing the 3 PBS channels in my area, strongest signal out there for me.

How can I go about adding the missing channels? Can I edit a file and manually add them? Are there other files I can download online, possibly generated by other folks living near me?

Thanks for the answer. Great software, just what I wanted.

G'day

You should try the last version 1.2.6. A lot of feature regarding channel scanning have been add since 1.1.2. One of the feature is auto scan for a lot of country (USA included).

You can replace it with Mobdro application, where you can watch any favorite online TV channel with the best quality.
