Increase buffers in me-tv-vlc version?

Asked by lianergoist

I have compiled me-tv-vlc, and it seems to work fine.

But I think video buffers is set too low - standard channels are good, but HD is ... not smooth...

Can I increase number of buffers in the source code, or should I make a config file for vlc, similar to what you talk about in this post: https://answers.launchpad.net/me-tv/+faq/823 ?

Hi Thomas, where did you get that version from?

Oh, sorry, I should have said that. I got it with
"bzr branch lp:~lamothe/me-tv/vlc"

Thanks...

There's no configuration item for this. I think that you'll need to change the --file-caching option in src/me-tv-vlc.cc.

Can you help with this problem?
