Calendar syncing with Google does not work

Hi,

elementary Freya here.

It seems Calendar syncing does not work with Google Oauth/token so one has to lower security level of gmail account to make syncing work. Probably not the best idea.

Any other way available ?

Right know it is not possible in Maya.
You could configure your calendars in Evolution and then they will also appear in Maya.

Well… it IS possible to sync maya with default google calendar but you need to lower the security level of your google account in order to accept connection from less secure app's.

Maya is missing the most recent "Oauth" method.

I may install Thunderbird/Lightning/Provider-for-Google-Calendar-plugin which make use of Oauth.

So you advice me to install rather Evolution than Thunderbird in order to use Maya in sync with Google ?
