Max

Need to know "spec" of FLAC ripping to see compatability for particular player

Asked by brad hansen

I have used MAX with Cowan players for years. However, they just launched the X7 and for a while it was recognizing my audio files. Now it is not. They say the player if fine but the specs of my FLAC files could not be compatible with their player.

The below are their specs:

compression level 0-8, 44.1 Khz, mono/stereo

Can you help confirm this is what MAX operates at?

Max can use those FLAC parameters, however they are customizable in the FLAC encoder preferences.
