after downloading the program how do i open it to begin changing the flac to aiff..on my imac i see the 'max'disc on my platform but when i click on it nothing happens..

..i downloaded the latest 'max' download and it created a disc on my imac platform. when i click it nothing happens.when i rt click it it gives me options ..one of which is 'open'. when i click that i get an 'open' box with max 0.91. that is dark and when i get further possibilities to choose but none of them are able to be chosen ...they aren't dark. i am trying to change flac files to aiff files after downloading hdtracks albums....what am i doing wrong..?.

To convert FLAC to AIFF first set up AIFF as an output format in the Preferences. Once this is done, choose "Convert Files" from the file menu and add your FLACs to the window and click Convert.
