is there a ppa or recent deb?

Asked by Dread Knight

I'm using Marlin for quit a few months now and I'm really loving some of it's features.
It does have a few bugs and it does crash from time to time. Was wondering if there's an up-to-date PPA or deb available to install on ubuntu 13.04 as I'm no fan to compiling software. Thanks.

Unfortunately there's still no ppa available for 13.04, i am quite busy and didn't have the time to work this out so far.
I'll address this issue in the next coming weeks. I'll keep in touch with you via this question.

Thanks for your support.

Hey ammmonkey, great to see some activity on Marlin! I'll try the 13.04 ppa now.

Do you plan to resume development (read: "should I report bugs")?

@phyzik Marlin's development never really stopped but you'll see it for yourself in the next coming month(s) ;)
So yes of course you can report bugs.

Am I doing it wrong? I added ppa:marlin-devs/marlin-daily through add-apt-repository, but the most recent version showing up in synaptic is 0.1-0~886~raring1. How do I get the latest build?
