will icon view/thumbnail be able to zoom to even larger?

icon view gets to 128px at most for now , and that's the size of normal thumbnails.

but I just found out ~/.thumbnails/large has 256px thumbnails for some video files, not that anybody is using it though, even if I zoom in to 400% in nautilus, it upscales the 128px thumbnails instead, god knows why (others have noticed this long time before http://mail.gnome.org/archives/nautilus-list/2008-March/msg00157.html).

I'm hoping marlin can get icon view bigger and use the larger thumbnails.

yes it is planned, we can request different sizes with tumbler.

I am aware of the 128px dirty/lazy upscales in nautilus which is why i never used its thumbnailing system for clutterview in nautilus-elementary ;)
