The first message you quote above is the expected archive page when no messages have yet been archived. If you have successfully posted to the list and believe there should be archived messages, check the list's Archiving Options and make sure archive is Yes. Also check Mailman's error log and be sure ArchRunner is running (See the FAQ at <http://wiki.list.org/x/A4E9>).

You have posted the second thing as a separate question, and I'll address it there.
