Problem Installing v1.6.2 on Ubuntu 13.10

When I try to run the installer, i receive the following error.

    usr_for_group + "'"
NameError: name 'sudo' is not defined

I feel like I'm probably just missing something silly, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

What version of 13.10 are you using? If it is the standard, i.e. Unity Desktop, 1.6.2 won't work anyway because it does not have an App Indicator. You need the 1.7 alpha in rev. 74 for that. See TESTING near the top. Notice it asks you to install the 'gksu' package and 'python-appindicator' if they aren't already installed.

Regarding your question. Did you install the 'gksu' package in 13.10 or check that it is installed?
