How do I use the debugging tool in Advanced Setup?

Go into "Advanced Setup" and check the "Debugging tool logging on?" check box and then click on 'Save'. Go ahead and rotate your screen to portrait/tablet and back. This option allows you to print the debug output to a text file called 'magick-log_date' in your "/home/yourusername/" directory for detailed study. Remember that for versions prior to 1.2 the log will keep filling until you uncheck the check box and hit 'Save' again. So don't leave it running for long. With v. 1.2 polling was eliminated and this no longer happens. Only rotation events are now printed to the log.

Looking at the output should help pin the problem down for you.
