Magento OpenERP Connector

Connector in magento side

what is the proper way of installing magento side connector. I only find this guide http://pragtechblog.blogspot.fi/2012/05/setting-up-magento-connector-for.html and theres alot of typos... I already installed openerp modules and all went good then I made magento user with all permissions... but still when i press 2 - synchronize referential settings i get error

User Error

Error connecting to magento, are your sure that your login is right? Did you configure API user in magento?

i'm using openerp 6.1 and magento 1.7

I ve got the same problem. Is this working with magento 1.7 or only 1.5 ?

API Key: YOURPASSWORD (This becomes your Openerp Magento Instances->Authentification-> Password)
API Confirmation: YOURPASSWORD
This Acount: Is Active

User Role->
Select openerp

SAVE USER

**Core Settings->Magento Instances**
If you have an existing Instance then edit - if not create one.

MAGENTO INSTANCES

Name: Magento

General->
Referential Type : Magento Version 1.5.0.0+
Location: http://www.YourMagentoShop.com (This needs to point to your home page for your magento shop - NOT localhost)

Default Values->
Default Product Category: Select any for now (can be edited later).
Default Language: Select Language

Authentication (click tab) ->
User Name : openerp ( From **System->Web Services->SOAP/XML-RPC- Users** User Info->User Name:)
Password: YOURPASSWORD ( From **System->Web Services->SOAP/XML-RPC- Users** User Info->API Key:)

SAVE

Referential Actions:

Compulsory
Run Through Steps 1 to 2

Optional
Run through steps 1 to 2
You can now edit Default Values-> Default Product Category: and set to your root Magento Category.
Run through steps 3 to 8

Download the file Connector_fuer_Magento.zip and unzip

ftp to Magento
Openlabs folder to Magento folder app/code/community
and
Openlabs_OpenERPConnector.xml to Magento folder app/etc/modules

Disable/Restart Magento Compiler (System->Tools->Compilation)
Flush Cache (System->Cache Management)

OPENERP-> MAGENTO INSTANCES
Retry Referential Actions:
Compulsory
Run Through Steps 1 to 2
Optional
Run through steps 1 to 8
