Many attributes (around 500 and growing)

Hi experts,

I would like to know, if somebody have experience with so many attributes (>500) ?

I know that currently the connector (stable) supports around 200 attributes and the removal of this limitation is in the
 roadmap, but I would like to know exactly what would happen in such case (with the current stable branch) ?

How will change this limit in the coming version ? ( 500-600 attributes will be supported ?)

Do you have an exact roadmap for the new version ?
