Magento OpenERP Connector

Import Export to/from Magento/OERP

Hi All,
Here is my problem which seems to not be answered at this time. May be it will become urgent to create a small manual for users.

I have setup the connector in Magento and off course in Oerp. Everythings seems to be good.
I have created three categories in OERP, and 4 products.
All the requirement were done following the starting configuration.

I haven't any products in Magento, but two categories with three subcategory level each.

Then when I click on the buttons 1 to 6 up to import products, what is the sense of this? Does it imports products from OERP to Magento or from Magento to OERP?

When I check my OERP, I can see that a new catzegory called "default" is set in subtree under my products section. Is it good?

The only one products from OERP product category which was tick to magento exported (does it need to be?) now also appears in the subcategory default.
All my categories from Magento were also imported to OERP.

But when check magento web site, no new products and categories where there?

So I decided to add Extra categories to the product to get it match with magentoimported category, and retry to do export categries (button5) and export product (button 6).

Still nothing new into Magento website, nor into the website tree from categories into magento, and nor to the root.

I use version 288 of the connector.

Finally what do I do wrong, and which release of each component do I need to have to be sure it works? (component are m2mcateg, .....)

 - We have a simple manual here: http://openlabs.co.in/blog/post/open-erp-magento-integration-new/
 - Its hjust the log of one of our engineers who installed the connector, so may not be the "simple" article ;)

 - Its a two way synch! and hence makes sense

 - Thats the default category Magento sets up. Magento follows its own funny way of categorizing products and this is just one of those

 - Did you export the catalog from Sale > Configuration > Shop ?

Thanks for your fast answer. I had tried in the past to synchro the catalog, but it fails.
Now, I have updated the Magento Module (from Magento website) and it works.
I have one more question:

In France and some other countries in EU, we have a tax called WEEE (in french DEEE) It concerns a tax for electronic, and electric gods.
This tax is paid from the manufacturer to the final customer to contribute environment. If I have this field into a product template set in Magento, if fails to synchronize as this field is unknow in Oerp. IMay be you know that as you have worked in France (if I have understood).

This question regards all the developpers, as this taxe will not need by the beginning of 2011 to be separeted from the price and the customer will continue to paid it (included in the price).
But today, how we can managed it? It seems a deee module exists but it is not compatible with Oerp5.0.x

I am not sure how you are going to do it on magento. I assume you will make it an attribute.

Once you make it as an attribute in magento, just sync the attribute sets and attributes from open ERP.

This will create a new attribute field in openerp side, where you will be able to set the value.

It could be a percentage, value or any attribute (other than binary/image)

thank for these answers. Now it fully works. I only need to try the products images synchro.
