Cannot get energy spectra when using precise mode
When I use precise mode, in my output folder there is no spectra energy from pythia8 even I already set save_output to all?
Is there anymore method to get spectra energy from precise mode?

Did you ask for the flux at the source or on earth? (or did you ask only for sigmav in which case PY8 is indeed not ran at all?

Olivier

I did set the flux at the source using pythia8 when "launch" and flux at
the earth I think I just use the default setting. I get the sigmav and the
mass value for my model.

What are the files that you have in the output directory?
and more specifically in the one of indirect_output?

I just have run_01_
unweighted_
I also dont have maddmresult.txt, in the output folder.
I also tried to run with the older version of MG5 2.7 and I can get the
spectra energy but I dont get maddmresult.txt there.

Is this for all model/benchmanrk?
If not could you tell me the set of command that you run since I do not have that issue on my side.
Cheers,
Olivier

I am not sure whether it is for all models or not, because I just use 1
model for MG5 2.8 and MG5 2.7. (MUED)
Here is my set of command:
1. I import model MUED_UFO from feynrules database (Minimal UED under
universal extra dimension)
2. Then I define darkmatter a1, one of the KK particles in the model.
3. I generate relic_density / bsm, because I don't want the bsm particle as
the final product.
4. Then I add indirect_detection e- e+, to specify the final product for my
indirect detection
5. Then output MyparticleName.
6. Before I launch, I edit the maddm.card, Halo average velocity to 1e-02
for cluster environment, I set save_output to all,
indirect_
7. Then, I edit param.card, set r to scan:[1/(x*100) for x in range (3,7)],
set lr to scan:[x*10 for x in range (1,11)].
8. Then I launch MyparticleName.

Could you run the following:
1. write the following in a file
import model MUED_UFO
define darkmatter a1
generate relic_density / bsm
add indirect_detection e- e+
output
launch
indirect=
set precise
set r scan:[1/(x*100) for x in range (3,7)]
set lr scan:[x*10 for x in range (1,11)]
set save_output all
set vave_indirect 1e-02
2. execute the file like this
./bin/maddm.py PATH_TO_YOUR_FILE
Such that we will have the exact same run.
I'm in particular not sure that you did not forget to switch the computation mode to
flux_source which would explain your issue
I'm running the above script and I will keep yyou informed.

I confirm that I have the spectra with the above method:
[run_01_01]$ ls
Output_Indirect maddm.out
[run_01_01]$ cd Output_Indirect
[Output_Indirect]$ ls
antiprotons_
gammas_
neutrinos_
neutrinos_
neutrinos_
positrons_

Thank you for your help, I succeed to producing energy spectra using
pythia8 but I still dont have MadDMresult.txt.
Is there anything I should add in my command file?

For scan mode, this file is not genrated and is replaced by the scan summary file.
