Reading Madanalysis 5 data

Asked by sudesh gupta

Hi,

I need data of any differential distribution which I'm getting from "histos.saf" file. I found binned data like;

      0.000000e+00 0.000000e+00 # bin 1 / 30
      0.000000e+00 0.000000e+00 # bin 2 / 30
      0.000000e+00 0.000000e+00
      1.375625e+02 0.000000e+00
      7.252295e+02 0.000000e+00
      1.132414e+03 0.000000e+00
      1.577016e+03 0.000000e+00
      2.153678e+03 0.000000e+00
      2.823883e+03 0.000000e+00
      3.401645e+03 0.000000e+00
      3.999217e+03 0.000000e+00

I know 1st column but what is the interpretation of 2nd column and why I'm getting numbers zero.

Thanks

Hi

First column indicates the sum of positive weights per bin in your sample and the second column is the same for negatively weighted events. If your sample doesn’t have negatively weighted events second column will not be filled.
