How to plot Higgs related distributions?

Asked by Steven Jeremies

Hi,

I produced a dataset with madgraph for the process p p > j t H and wanted to plot some differential distributions.
How do I specify the Higgs boson in MadAnalysis? I tried, taking the energy as an example, E(H) and E(h) but I receive
the error message: MA5-ERROR: 'H' is not a defined (multi)particle.
What is the correct symbol for the Higgs then?

Thanks in advance!

Hi

First I assume that this is a parton-level analysis since higgs can not be a final state particle. To display the list of particles and modules you can type `display` and press tab. This will show you the list of the available particles, multiparticle definitions and displayable modules in the session. If the particle you seek is not included you can simply type `define X = <list of pdgid>`. You can find all this information in the MadAnalysis manual.
