MadAnalysis 5

No plots, MadAnalysis5

Hi all,

I am new to MG5 and as such I have a lot of beginner's questions. I 've been generating some simple processes, e.g. p p > e- ve~. I am running Pythia8 and MA5 and in the end, when opening the index.html, although MA5 claims there are some histograms generated, there aren't any. Is this the expected outcome?

Hi Dimitris,

We need more details: version of MG5_aMC and of MadAnalysis 5. I cannot reproduce the problem for the time being.

Are you running it in python 3? if so you need ma5 v1.9_beta

Hi Jack,

No, I am running Madgraph using Python2.7 and since I am running MA5 through MG's terminal I guess it's already running in Python2.7.
