 There is no TestRoot.log file in /Users/alan/Documents/MG5/MG5_aMC_v2_6_7/HEPTools/madanalysis5/madanalysis5/tools/SampleAnalyzer/Bin

is that the problem?

On the other hand, MA5 seems to be working good now, I used the following answer to fix it:

but, is it still possible to have problems with Root in the future?

We indeed implemented a few updates recently. This may have fixed the issue (provided newer versions of mg5 and ma5 are used).

Hi, I´ve found the log file

dyld: Symbol not found: __cg_jpeg_resync_to_restart
  Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/ImageIO
  Expected in: /usr/local/lib/libJPEG.dylib
 in /System/Library/Frameworks/ImageIO.framework/Versions/A/ImageIO

I still have the problem when I run madanalysis outside of madgraph.
