b-jets

Asked by tom ingebretsen carlson

Hi!

I have made Delphes simulations through madgraph and produced root-files. Now i wish to plot observables in madanalysis -R.

Is it possible to plot b-jets? ex plot PT(b.jet[1])? Is it possible to plot Missing transverse momentum for a particle?
Can madanalysis identify b-jets from the root file when the file is produced via default settings or do i need to reproduce them?

Can't find any syntax in tutorials, so thanks for your help

cheers

Hi,

> Is it possible to plot b-jets? ex plot PT(b.jet[1])?
B-jet properties can be plotted but you need to follow the MA5 syntax to achieve it (please have a look to the manual or the reference cards).

> Is it possible to plot Missing transverse momentum for a particle?
I have no clue what this means. Do you mind being more specific?

> Can madanalysis identify b-jets from the root file when the file is produced via default settings or do i need to reproduce them?
Once again, I am not sure to understand the question. Tentatively, I would say yes...

Cheers,

Benjamin
