Delphes: error while loading shared libraries: libCore.so:

Asked by tom ingebretsen carlson

Hi!

I'm trying to do a detector simulation using Delphes. The run produces a LOG file with the text :
"MG5_aMC_v2_6_3_2/Delphes/DelphesSTDHEP: error while loading shared libraries: libCore.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".

How can I solve this problem? Might it be that my root and Delphes are not compatible?

Also it does not produce a root file, which it is supposed to do, right?

Thanks!

Hi,

We can't help you with that as you used the delphes interface of MadGraph and not the one of MadAnalysis. I am redirecting the question to the MadGraph developers.

Cheers,

Benjamin

Actually, this should rather be a question for Delphes author. (They are using github if I'm correct)
but I would suggest to check the following link:
