MadAnalysis 5

unable to run the project

Hi,

Root was installed in my Mac, however, I failed to run madanalysis and the madanalysis5/tools/SampleAnalyzer/Bin/TestRoot.log is as follows,

dyld: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/liblzma.5.dylib
  Referenced from: /opt/local/libexec/root5/lib/root/libCore.5.so
  Reason: Incompatible library version: libCore.5.so requires version 8.0.0 or later, but liblzma.5.dylib provides version 6.0.0

Can you tell me what do I need to do next?

That's an issue with your root installation and when madanalysis5 tries to link everything together it is confused about some libraries that appear twice on your system.

You can first try to start madanalysis5 without root (by editing the file madanalysis/input/installation_options.dat) to see whether this works.
