delphes ma5tune, root files

Asked by Juhi Dutta

Hello,

I receive this warning while installing delphes in ma5. But I dont see the same cards in both delphes and delphes-ma5tune. Please could you have a look at this once? Maybe I am wrong and am unable to locate it.

ma5>install delphesMA5tune
** WARNING: The package 'delphesMA5tune' is now obsolete. It is replaced by Delphes with special MA5-tuned cards.
** WARNING: Are you sure to install this package? (Y/N)

Another warning I get repeatedly using a root file(converted stdhep to root using standalone Delphes) as input on ma5 is:

WARNING: GenParticle corresponding to a photon is not found in the gen table

I am not quite sure why this comes up.

Thanks & Regards,
Juhi

Hi,
You must install "Delphes" to enable some of the root libraries associated with Delphes. DelphesMa5Tune is optional as "install delphes" covers all of them. Another reason is DelphesMa5Tune is not maintained these days. So you can ignore it without any damage.

Thanks
