Is there any way to get the Mobile Notetaker tools running in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty? Has anyone figured out how this works?

Hello all,

and sorry (again) for really really late answer.

Unfortunately there isn't precompiled package for Natty at the moment, but I guess that the old .deb works well also with Natty. Just grab the .deb and install it manually with `dpkg -i'.

However, I'm working currently on this project (making the tool more robust and also concentrating on usability issues). And I'm also planning to make necessary step to get this pacakge into Debian, so that it will be pulled also to Ubuntu in the future. It should ease my job of maintenance and would probably reach more users.

I'm glad that you really find this project useful, it's actually you who keep me working on this :-).

Hi Tuomas, grabbing the .deb s and installing them via "dpkg -i *.deb" on Natty does not seem to work. python-210m does not seem to install on Natty. When installing, it tells a Python dependency problem:

dpkg: Abhängigkeitsprobleme verhindern Konfiguration von python-m210:
 python-m210 hängt ab von python (<< 2.7); aber:
  Version von python auf dem System ist 2.7.1-0ubuntu5.

However, I have Python 2.7.1 and also Python 2.6.6-6 installed. Any idea how to solve this problem? Thanks

Hello and thx for these answers. I already tried to installerai the .deb or .tar.gz sources but there are dependencies problems. I found a less conventional solution : install 10.10 on virtualbox and install m210 and it works .....
Thx ++++++
