Any plans for video support?

The Launchpad page mentions animated gif support - are there any plans for being able to use video files or v4l2 input?

Yes, video support would be wonderful.

The limiting factor is that there seem to be no working Ruby libraries for reading frames of video from either a file on disk or a live capture.

Help with this feature would be most appreciated.
