Asked by Carlos Joel Delgado Pizarro

I use Rhythmbox as my audio player, I wonder if it would work with Rhythmbox. :)

No, wait... it works!

maybe a lyric server problem :)

You could change the default search engine via right click menu. TTplayer, sogou, baidu, winampcn, ailrc are good at Chinese lyrics, others are good at English and other language lyrics.

Also you could advise us your native language lyrics site, we would try to add new search engine.

I get the lyrics mainly from astraweb.com and lyrc.com.ar, I use a complement that comes with rhythmbox, but I think lrcShow-X would be greater because it is said that shows the lyrics line by line :D (I hope I see it working soon).

Hi Carlos, lrcShow-X would realize the dynamic effect, because it uses .lrc file (a plain text file with time tags). I checked that astraweb.com and lyrc.com.ar are not provide .lrc file.

You could change search engine via right click menu, choosing miniLyrics, lrcdb, lrydb or evillyrics.

I don't think it's due to a wrong engine, maybe you are using a proxy and lrcShow-X tries to connect directly to internet.
In this case, you should just configure the proxy settings.
Anyway, if the message is "Connection timeout", it should be a connection issue.
