Load balance between two physical connections?

Asked by Mark

I have two physical internet connections to my PC via eth0 and eth1.
I want to add two usenet server entry into lottanzb, each for each ethernet connection, binding via either device name or IP.

How do i bind servers to an IP using lottanzb. In hellanzb.conf I see options to defineServer and bind IP there. Lottanzb doesn't seem to support the options to do this, any clues to where i need to look to enable it?

Hi Mark,

as you've already noticed, LottaNZB doesn't offer a graphical way to bind a server entry to a certain IP. But it looks like the bindTo option in ~/.lottanzb/hellanzb.conf does what you would like it to do. I've never tried this option on my own because I don't have two separate internet connections. I guess this approach only makes sense if you've got static IP addresses.

As I said, I'm not sure if it will work, but I'd really like to know if it does.

Ah, I didn't see the blueprint you've registered. I'll take a look at it.

Can you help with this problem?
